Architectural Drafter

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our team and assist the Project Manager and team members in drafting, detailing, and basic project documentation and coordination. This position requires comprehensive drafting skills, a strong understanding of CAD standards, and the ability to multi-task in fast-paced setting. This is a full-time, in person position.

Responsibility

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Produce technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Assist in basic project coordination and documentation tasks.
• Adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD architecture is required.
• Knowledge of New York City Department of Buildings codes and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for employee sponsorship.
